What does the call answering service include?

A virtual PA or an eReceptionist provides remote administrative support to your business. Boffix offers a whole suite of virtual PA services, so you can let us deal with the business tasks you don’t have time for. Sign up for our call handling service and your business calls will be answered promptly and professionally. Your virtual PA can transfer the call to you or take a message.

What hours do you operate?

Your virtual PA will answer your calls during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm), giving your company name and greeting callers according to your instructions. Outside of business hours, you get a dedicated voicemail box, and we’ll email any voicemail messages to you the next working day.

How do you know how to handle my calls?

When you sign up to the service, we’ll talk through all your requirements and make sure we know exactly how you want your calls to be handled. You can make changes whenever you want. For your out-of-hours answerphone, we can record a personalised message for you, or you can record it yourself and send it over as a WAV file.

What information does the virtual PA get from the caller?

As standard, your virtual PA will record the caller’s name, company name, telephone number, and ask for a message and the best way of getting back in touch. The service can be fully tailored, so just tell us if you want to capture different information.

What else can my virtual PA do?

As well as call handling, we offer a full range of virtual PA services, including administrative assistance, bookkeeping and post handling. Everything works on a pick and mix basis, so you only pay for the services you need. See our full list of services

How long is my contract for?

Our contracts work on a rolling basis, so we only need one month’s notice to end your subscription.

What happens if I exceed the 30 call transfers?

We transfer up to 30 call transfers to UK landlines and UK Mobiles (01,02,03 & 07). All NUMBERS outside of these ranges will be charged at Standard BT Business rates. However, some mobile operators may apply additional charges.

I have already advertised my mobile number can I still use this service?

Absolutely, we will provide you with a number and you can divert your existing number to this. We will take messages and forward these to you. If you want us to transfer calls we will need another number to forward the calls to.
